I know one is going to be in St.Albans area and talk of another in Eden the same weekend as Shred the Ledge.

Also rules have changed on the ultimate scale challenge page on Facebook. He will be updating the web page in a week or so when he is back from vaca and has use of a computer

Well my phone won't let me copy a post from FaceBook but I did screen shot these. There is 2 classes now for the KOS. They aren't on the website yet but soon they should be.

It's hard sometimes when I look bad myself bahaha.

The U99 class seems to be taking a lot of interest. Should be quite the interesting event to say the least!

It does. I'm a set of frame rails away from having a U99 rig.

Guess I was hoping for a little more endurance style of event.

Waiting for people to complete gates seems kinda lame if everyone leaves the starting line at the same time. Wonder how the gates are pointed compared to completed laps? Meaning, how much time is it worth to complete a gate?

Does "self turnmarshalling" mean free rollovers?

Do I read this correctly? I MUST have lights? Are we racing at dark?

Yes it does say lights lol. I don't k ow if that means we are racing at night....

Yeah I was hoping more like a Dakar setup or something that is long distance. Like 1-2 hour for the race. Something grueling and if you finish is a win in its self.

I see they've posted a date of June 13th with a location of St. Albans. I'll be there. Anyone wanting to carpool from the central VT area just let me know.

Since the Rausch Creek G6 is the weekend before, my significant other may not be too pleased with all the "personal" time I'll be taking.

I see in the rules that the U99 class must use stock shock mounting points, so my Blazer is out. But since the JK has lights already, I guess that's the one to run. Since power is limited to a 20 turn and 3s, it would seem that 3s is bascially required to be competitive. That means buying more batts, and an external BEC. I think I have an old reverse-rotation 22 turn Kyosho Magnetic Mayhem that is a 550 can that I could play with to reverse rotation. That should be about the hot ticket I think.
