Boy, I bet you had to shoot a lot of frames to get all that. What software you use to put it all together?

Is there a Website or someone that can tell me how to do this? I'd like to give it a Shot.

Take a video camera.

put it on a Tripod.

Set up what you need to film.

hit the record button for a couple of seconds.

move pieces to next step.

repeat record button step and move step over and over till you are done.

Any more than that you may want to consult a professional.

I think it's all pictures, not video. But, I could be wrong.

That video was awesome. Great idea and excellent job on putting it all together.

I wish I had the skills to build a crawler in 2 1/2min.

There are a lot of stop motion tutorials on youtube.

Here is the software I used... http://www.animatordv.com/download7

I used a cheap video camera (canon z850) as a capture device. A web cam will work also.

After a little studying and a few test runs I took a couple thousand pics using the animatordv program while I put my car back together and viola.

A couple thousand pics, more work than I want to do, but the end result was worth it.
