Arrow Video of my soon to be Rock Racer.........

Shot a little video of my RTR AX10. It'll be modded into a rock racer eventually, I'll start a build thread on it when I get started. Only mods made so far are soft springs out front, 24t pinion and 3 cell A123. Parts tally so far.......................one servo saver. This rig has put up with a ton of abuse in a very short period of time.

Nice! I can't believe that box stock RTR is pulling of some of the comp lines!

I know, even with the stock can and a 24t pinion.

Thank you for that it really helped!

So what plans do you have in store for it?

Yeah That was fun to watch I'm continually amazed at how much abuse the AX10's can take and come right back for more, even in mostly stock form

I'm going to lower it a little by limiting the shocks, and I'll go to the Axial aluminum shock bodies when I do. I'll probably lower the body a bit more, make new steering links, add a little stronger servo, etc.

Yup, it is a very durable rig for sure.

Yeah, I debated camera placement for a while on a few of those shots.

nice vid as usual ...your camera captures great color outdoors!

do you find that the RTR has a very rough throttle jump when going forward but in reverse it can be done smoothly and gradually ? I

Waiting to see the build up !!!! I'm going with 3cell lipo soon too and keeping the default pinion. Let us know how that ESC copes with the Lipo , does it get hot?

My throttle response isn't bad at all, especially for the gearing I'm running. The ESC and motor do get hot, but everything is holding up so far.
