I think the 5700 with a 2 cell is perfect. 40mph, good runtime, and great usable power. That's with stock gearing, I might gear it down a hair...

only the stock motor and an 8 cell 4700 elite....:x

I'd guess 30-40 feet or so, about 12 feet of altitude.

That was some insane jumps there. Looks like the Slash can take some abuse for sure "thumbsup"
