| Berg Abuse.
Posted this in my build thread but thought I'd share it here too. The last three minutes or so are a decent demonstration of just how durable and tough these Berg axles are. Hadn't seen a vid like this yet to show how strong they are so figured I'd post for others to see. Can TLT or AX10 axles take this kind of treatment? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frnSdhBrOT8. |

I guess they couldnt take that kind of abuse...but how the hell in any real life crawling session would that kind of abuse be warranted? HOLY SMOKES!!!!! That was almost painful to watch...your a mad man!! |

thats nothing, i drive like that on a daily basis. however, if you really want to see a truck get used you need to see austin dunn after a comp. i have never seen a crawler get more hangtime coming of 15-20 foot cliffs

I had that same idea, but to steer the tires different ways on an axial axle. Surprised the C broke, not the servo horn. |

| Why? I know exactly what you mean. The first time I saw a Berg get treated like this was watching Austin down at ECC. I wish I'd have recorded what he did to it after the finals, I was amazed. That's what convinced me to buy a Berg. However, I feel that this was a pretty good test. No one should ever do this kind of stuff in a comp. Regardless, I thought some folks who have never seen a Berg could see just how durable they really are. |

No the tlt or axial won't do that abuse. The berg is a strong machine. And this is their advantage also. I kinda get frustrated in comps watching a berg bash and bash then eventually luck out and end up on its wheels. You try and drive your best, but luck is a big player. The berg excels in the luck category. |

Impressive strength (not the axles they broke) the servo horns. Great demonstration the truck is capable of much more abuse than it would ever see in any competition. |

| No. I called it abuse. I only punish it when it misses a line, then it has to sit in the corner on a timeout. I'd like to see that on film Thanks, that was the point. To show what they can take, which is more anyone should subject it to in a normal day of crawling. However, during a comp, if you get offline or flip, I've seen trucks get put through hell trying to right it back. |
