| Airsoft Crawler video(s) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bp847hhiSJs Not the usual crawler... Since it needs more gear-down, an old WildWilly tranny is being grafted on for a nice 58.56:1. (stock was 17:77:1). |

Meh, pointless the way it is setup. Needs tires/wheels. Those Matt-Tracks on a scale setup are pointless. He couldn't even get up that 2 inch rock, lol. For something like that I would think a custom chassis with a 3 axis setup would allow for a better design. But, I didn't buy/build it and wouldn't really know. Sure would be fun to have waiting in the forests when people are near. lol.

Good points, "crawler" can mean different things to different people, and today's usual interpretation isn't THIS. With the gear-down and posi in the back, climbing should get better. Now, I didn't build this for sneaking around housing project terrain at night, hiding behind fence corners, tormenting dogs, taking out porchlights, knocking over garbage cans, battling urban raccoons, etc, but those are things it would be useful for. EDIT: disguise it with an old "Huggies" bag. People might notice it, but they wouldn't touch it. Nil chance of a bomb squad being called. NOTE HUMOR....Please don't build anything like this for illegal activity. But if you live next door to a sorority, I want pic copies... Last edited by killbucket; 08-28-2008 at 10:13 AM. |

I just read about a new RC copter with a built-in camera that's about to hit the market. You download the recorded video from the transmitter. Not sure if it has realtime output tho, the sites' mostly in Chinese. Be careful... Radio Glitches HAPPEN. I've been shot by this thing twice now. It's a Life-Form-Hating little bugger. |
