You were pulling off some sick lines in the vid. Especially the pirouette to keep you from flipping backwards ... that was awsome. Don't you think the Black widow deserves a little more than a recycled WK body though Kidding man... rig looks great and looks like it works great! |

Still no dig?!?!?!? lol Come to the VF/DNA dark side. That puller makes you feel like you can jump sometimes. I tried it today and wish i hadn't. That rock have some bite to it or what? You were getting some crazy climbs out of that rock. I am still tuning my dang setup. I can make some crazy lines at times and others I couldn't throw it over. But I am learning. Nice vid. nice vid. So what gearing are you running on it? Oh and how do you like the puller on 8cells?

The puller has changed the way I crawl I get a bit more ballsy on trying more odd or death defying lines. No real reason a motor should do that, but it does have that effect. The granite out at this spot is very rough. I can't imagine anyone not liking this area to crawl on. There are literally boulders the size of houses out there...down to about the size of a beach ball...both half buried and some just balancing on top of the dirt. It's a great area for supers as well. 96/17 gearing. The puller does fine with the 8 cells, it has some good punch (as evident in the vid :-P). I get about 30-35 minutes on a pack if I am about 50-50 slow crawl to heavy throttle. I have some 9 cell packs for it also that I run when I have the MSD's and Claws mounted (less backspacing which makes room for the added cell while turning).

One option it gives is to disconnect the rear driveline so that the rear axle spins freewheel (not powered by the motor). This allows you to climb steep inclines a bit easier because the front tires are the only one's biting which can keep the truck from flopping over backwards. The other option is that it can lock up the rear driveline so that the rear axle will not spin at all (not powered by the motor OR be allowed to freewheel). This allows you to turn the front tires, and using the throttle, use the fronts to dig in to the terrain and make very sharp turns since the rear axle will more or less pivot around it's center since it will be dragging the rear tires.
