The Kyosho looks to be a nice crawler. Is this a stock set up?
Will the rig hold on a hill with the trigger in nuetral position.

Worm gear setups will allow for holding like that on an incline. The drag brake was turned off on the ESC so what you saw was 100% worm gear.
