Mine seems to climb a little better. I would get the 70mm links for your uppers. Good vids though.

I would have grabbed some when I was at the hobby store the other day but they were out. It's next on my list.

I was let down. At the end of the video, you said you made it once on video. What happened?

It never fails that the time you do crawl up it, the cameras aren't rollin. That was one take though, after many failed attempts. It's a really hard line though. There is only one way you can get up it and it's on a very fine line. If you get the steering wrong just a little bit the rear will slide to far to the right which is straight down and then gravity takes over. If anyone is local I invite you to come test your rig on this line. before my latest mods I looked at it and didn't even think it was possible. The camera angle doesn't really do it justice. It is much harder than it looks in the video. In the second picture you can see were the front left tire must go. But at that angle I wouldn't make it because it isn't parallel enough with the rock. If the trucks rear was over to the right more it would crawl up. But if you go to far you slip off the ledge. The 3rd picture shows the angle it is able to crawl when it has grip. My buddy couldn't do it and he tried for 20 minutes too. Last edited by legion1capone; 05-07-2009 at 12:13 AM. |

Looks like a tough line to me. Especially for a rig running stock link locations on the axle.

Try it with some rovers. It may not be as hard as you think .
