| Trying out HPI Grabbers
I spent a little time yesterday giving the HPI Grabbers a fair shot to see how they worked. The are pretty impressive at my local spot. The overly aggresive side biters actually came in handy at this place. It took awhile to pin down a foam setup that worked well for me, but i figured it out. The forward grip is pretty sick! I wont say they are better or worse than my Rovers...but they are definetly worth keeping around for an alternative. Shot a few clips...they are a bit grainy :?...sorry for that...they were shot with a crappy point'n'shoot. Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUAmKsL_mzg |

nice vid and i have to agree, i had alot of luck with the grabbers and put them in the same catagory as the rovers and cougars BUT the cost doesnt help them out.

Mine sucked bad when it was cold out... they would not hold a line, would not grab anything. Once the sun came out this spring they started to soften up and worked really well. Now they are too soft so I need to find some stiffer foam to keep them from folding over, but so far I really like them...

I have been thinking about trying these for a while now. I might have to break down and get a set after watching this video.

i really like mine and think they hook very well, it all depends on how your foams are set-up and terrrain as well, but from what i think they are pretty good tire and i they hook up well for me |

They do look like they were hooking up really well. I love my rovers and panthers but they look like another good option to have in the arsinal! It also looks like you trucks suspention is really dialed in which helps make a tire look good. Nice looking rig |

Nice tunes...cool video. I've tried a set of the Grabbers. What I found, was they don't like wheel speed. If you can crawl it slow, they worked rather well. As soon as you stab it,they like to sit there and float around. I couldn't get them to launch at all. |
