Default OLD School TLT - BMV Torsion - 58deg climb

BMV Piano Wire Torsion chassis [HIGH COG]
TLTs
5.7" Lizard Claws (with new rear foams, bet I could get above 60deg)

So not runnin with the best, but pretty good for an old school torsion rig.

I still swear my BMVII was the best straight up climber I have ever ran.

I bought this one in original form.

Took the wheelbase out to 12.5".
COG isn't the greatest, and I made it worse by raising the chassis off the axles another 1/4" to accomidate a BTA battery tray (7cell 2/3a saddle).
Tall tires probably do not help for this either. In the video you can see the wieght shift is flattening the rear tires/foams.
14oz rears (tires+foams+weight+wheel), 16oz fronts.

It's def not a comp rig, but still my main runner for GTGs and fun to see the different lines it does over 4links.

Those indoor carpet/couch courses will really tell you how a rig will work on the rocks....

Yeah, used up the plywood after the last flood. Cannot really find a large enough rock for a long enough climb to measure 58deg on a rock in sandy west Mich.

The carpet is actually a pretty good simulated rock climb, as the carpet was woven from rock fiber with a lot of toyofast back hair for binder.
If you look close you can see the blond flecks mixed in.
I heard TCS and RC4WD are considering marketing it.

With some recent improvements (what you can do on a TLT BMV rig) I am curious to get into Battlefront [Grand Rapids] indoor course again.
A soaking of WD40 brought some life back into the dried out Lizard-claws
