| My first build - Extreme Tamiya F-350
Hello everyone! I'm new to the website and to scale crawling in general. This is my first build. Some of the modifications are: aluminium wheel axles with locked differentials, 4-link system and 94mm angled suspension shocks from JunFac, huge RokLox tires and beadlock wheels from RC4WD. I have also raised the transmission and built my own aluminium chassis to allow for maximum ground clearance and extreme wheel travel. The car is now capable of 16 cm (6.3 inch) wheel lift, without any tire leaving the ground, compared to only 4½ cm (1.8 inch) on the original car. As this is a 1:12 scale truck, that would be equivalent of 192 cm (6.3 feet) wheel lift in 1:1 size! I'm hoping to do some more modifications to it in the near future. Here's a few videos of it in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaOsdDXfo_w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGUfGLGoSEc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YLOglAyLbg |
