Default ETRC New Comp Spot (Moonbuggy Tester)

Trying out a new location for the ETRC Comp scene....

Danny Bee Driving his Moonbuggy.

The Thumbnail looks pixelated but the video quality is actually decent.

Looks like there are some real tough spots in that course...

Nice!
There is more flowing stuff up top too but its definitely not as comp worthy. The traction at LRC is very nice but the cementation isn't as strong as the quartz grains and traction can vary from strong to medium in some cases. I could see in some of the climbs you guys had traction and then it would just break loose. Did you notice small accumulations of sand in some of the pockets? The lichens and mosses are a challenge at times.

It can be very challenging because traction can sometimes break unexpectedly.

Actually for 2.2 the pictures of the top you posted look better.... how close to the golf course parking area can you access the top of the rocks?

Yes we found sandy pockets and lichen patches in the rocks. Lots of fun though...

We climbed the first time and walked out the easy way.

Its close (<10 min), the arrow in the picture is my general route. The walk goes on and off private property but the crawling is on Montlake's property. I have only been questioned a couple of times. Just aim for the green roofed warehouse, you can see it in the Google map veiw and in my picture. You may also be able to start from that side.

The only bad thing about this spot is it may not be kid friendly with the +25 ft deep cracks. The features are worth the danger!
