| Losi MOA, 6s, 15" gap http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDm86Nkj8rQ This is one of the gaps in my back yard rock garden. The rig is a BJV3 with Losi axles. MMP, Punk, 40C 6s, HH 14T pullers. Last but not least, Dlux 4340 worms. I'm running the 32 pitch Eritex gears with a 9T and 10T pinion. This is about all I can get out of my worms for wheelspeed. What are the rest of you other (Berg, Bully, XR10, etc) MOA guys able to jump? Do you see gaps like this in comps? Thanks for watching... |

Very nice! Makes me jealous. I have never measured my gaps. I think I need to. I am not sure I have that much power though. Think you would get more out of brushless motors? |

Yeah dude, for sure. But then I'd be running dual escs, and I'd need a 4 channel radio. The 14T pullers are slooow IMO. Not sure what wind they would compare to in a regular 540. I bet there's another combo that would get me more speed but I doubt it would be 6s capable. Brushless is the only thing that managed to make me smile on my Losi shafty rig. 21.5T on 4s. I do like BL. Your worms are badass. They looked great when I swapped out spools the other day. It's awesome knowing that I can depend on them. The spools last quite a while, it's not the worm's cut or anything that does it. It's just harder material vs softer, and regular abuse. |

Gotcha. Kinda stuck on the brushed thing since its MOA then.... Are you going through spools to the point where the car stops? If not I would keep them in. I think thats the sweet spot and where you want to be. Lookin sick. I might have to try a 6s on my 11.5t motor |

Erik, yeah, the spools were worn down to where the teeth had a sharp jagged edge. Saw a huge difference when I swapped them out. Make sure your BL motor won't overheat with 6s. 4s is all my 21.5T can stand. I've been hearing good things about the Brood axle snappers, may give them a go. Not sure which one everyone is calling the "axle snapper". His site has a ton of brushed crawler motors, none have that name. I don't want to give up ANY torque or low speed resolution, so I'm going to have to make that decision carefully. Thanks J, you think you got that? |

Thanks Blake, finally got time to put some hours into it. Can't wait to see how the XR10 does. I'm thinking you've got that jump no problem.

I ran D-lux worms with Dual 13.5s (w/14mm rotors) with dual MMps on 3s 35/65 g3 lipos and it easily did gaps like that. alot of fun aint it? When i do stuff like that with my XR-10 it goes snap-boom-pow and then i look like this>>> |

Honestly, I haven't researched the XR's too much. You feel like the Losi axles are stronger than the XR after adding the Dlux worm, huh? I'm looking at other MOA setups since they are easier to get wheelspeed, but I'm leary of the weight penalty(Berg/Bully being metal). So what would it take to get the XR up to Losi strength? |

| OMG thats awesome! I have never been the guy to put quotes in his sig but thats tempting. Maybe some other options would be the 21t worms when they get here and some knuckle weights? Knuckle weights defiantly free up some wheel speed. |

Lol tellya what, you run that in your sig, I'll run a link to your fine line of product in mine. I do plan to get some of your brass knuckle weights after Christmas. |

Cool. We're even color coordinated. That was purely an accident too. I like helping out my PBB bros. |
