Default Sunrise Bay at Horsetooth Reservoir - Colorado

If anyone from Colorado remembers the comp we had here at Sunrise Bay a few years back, you will remember the terrain as being great for crawling but that the walk was just a bit far for carrying all the gear.

I wanted to post this up and invite 666 or anyone else to hit me up about another comp. They have extended the parking area right down to the crawl spot and even set up a shaded table area and restrooms. Couldn't be better!

Vid 1 is "the wall" that some may remember from the comp - 10' tall and
super steep.

Vid 2 is some general crawling at Sunrise Bay

Vid 3 is some badazz footage from a new arew I dubbed "the badlands". Kinda black loose shale ridges and trenches add up to fun but potentially hard on parts. Great for Rock Race type courses, hill climbing, and ripping around.

I need to head up there and check this out. Looks like a great spot for the boat too!

the crawling and the bashing terrain are great and the access is now easy. best on off hours as now more people traffic the area. it will be great in the winter with less people out and low water line. there should be a winter comp up here this this year. the water can be choppy with wind, not sure how boats do in waves ......but the terra firma will not dissapoint!

The video just doesn't do that wall justice. It's like in 1:1 pictures never as good as being there. You can still get the idea of just how vertical of a climb that is. Very nice video's

yea man, that wall is a killer. So steep that the tires are really just barely getting grip, the fronts just skip the rock. and a long hard fall as well, the wall has broken and bent several rigs........Thanks man.
