not to sound negative but those planes are made to do that, its not as hard as it looks, well except for the hovering

Yea... A buddy of mine showed me that one... 3D planes are cool... Built to do it, yea, but not as easy as ye'd think... Just like alotta ppl look at crawlers and think it's easy to get one of our beasts up a pile or marked run... It's all skill... Altho', I think I'd like to try one'a them planes for kicks... Buzz a crawler or 2... ![]() Last edited by DaViolentOne; 05-16-2006 at 09:40 AM. Reason: Typos... |

It took me a month to learn to fly it upside down and on its side in the front yard. that guy was at the indoor tourny i was at, he got 1st out of 23 i got 19 out of 23. but it is even cooler to see in person.

LOL The hovering is probably the easiest moves he made.... I'd say the near surface knife edge's and the seamless rolling harriers, along with music sync was probably the most difficult.... He definitely has skillz... As for the planes, yes, they're made for this type of 3D flying, but they'r'e not exactly planes I'd hand over to a noob.... The controls are lightning fast, much faster than any other plane.... I guess the only thing that could top that (stunt wise) would be a 4D with variable pitch prop, so you could stop in mid air or fly backwards.... Rick | |
