| Who says an ax10 won't take a beating????? Not me.
This is the first video i have ever posted on youtube. The first video is showing a hill that my nephew built in his garage out of a 4x5 pallet some spray foam, a big piece of flat foam and some rocks from the creek behind his house. Its at a 60* angle right now. I noticed after adding the tires and more weight that the stock servo has lost some mojo. Im hoping to change the servo out soon. tight budget really limits how much you can do at a time. And the torque twist is being worked on now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilkZT...YHRTrG8mlEo88E This is a few times after trying to make it. Im doing the videoing and my nephew is driving. We both are extremely new to rc crawlers but not wheeling. Only mods on the ax10 are mip driveshafts, weighted wheels and sedona tires. yup throttle happy. But hey its still just as fun. Lose the servo savor off the servo and put a regular servo horn on it. Even just a plastic one will give you a bit more response from your servo. Awesome little setup you got there the mess around on |

A bit to throttle happy I'll admit. However thats my style. I do slow down when it comes to actual rock crawling but when it comes to hill climbing it usually a go big or go home type attitude. But thats what im building it for. Not rock racing, not rock crawling but southern style rock Bouncing. I so appreciate the tip on the servo horn. I lost quite a bit of steering when i went with the bigger tires and more weight. I know I need a better servo and I'll get it when funds become available. I'll give yall a quote that I build everything by. I heard it when is was about 16 by my dad when we all had s-10's with v8's in. Quote "Son, If you worried bout breakin, you need to stay at the house." My father and again 20 years later by Brian Cole of ColeWorx Rock Racing Factory.
