next project is to convert elliptical set up to the land cruiser hoping that it will solve body roll issues.

That's really more of a 1/4 elliptical suspension setup. A "full elliptical" would mean that a full leaf spring was mounted to the axle and another was mounted to the chassis...and their ends tied together...making a full circle...hence "full elliptical". A 1/4 elliptical is or was fairly popular in 1:1 size rigs when going to the larger tires and more commonly in southeastern wheeling, but of course coilovers and air shocks of different sorts have taken over for their ease of mounting, better performance, and several other aspects.

Cool idea though...different...but still cool that you're tinkering and trying different setups

Hay thanks for the info. i guess i will just call it a custom elliptical suspension for now on.

I have converted the landcruiser to a custom Elliptical suspension, this application has dramatically improved the landcruisers body roll issues. I Broke a shock mount during this filming ,all and all it drives pretty good too. Here are a couple of running videos.
