Nice to see how it performs stock...thanks for throwing that together

thats a jump I built for my exo a few weeks ago. I had no idea if the TWH would clear it so I just hit it full throttle the first time and it clears it perfectly! Haha and it flies very balanced! Seems to land on its wheels every time! Wish I could say that for my exo.

The sway bar in the rear would help high speed turns I think. If I get one ill post a before and after video for comparison. There's a lot of body roll and torque twist (which is to be expected for a shaft driven rock crawler/racer)

But it jumps impressively well. We'll balanced! The suspension soaks up landings well too!

That was all stock. I'll replace the ESC with a sv3 soon so i will post a vid on 3s

Let me know if that helps the throttle lag in low gear. I've heard it's the radio, but it seems like esc to me.

I want to see it crawl. (hint hint)

I'm not using the stock radio. I'm using a DX3C.

I wish it were slower in low gear. It's low gear is faster than any of my scalers. But I like 55t motors with 15tooth pinions in my scalers so i like em real slow.

Plus the stock forward/brake/reverse setting drives me nuts while crawling. So I dont think ill ever really crawl this one. Just trophy truck-like speed mostly.

It's too fast to crawl at my crawling speed. I imagine most people who run 27t or 35t motors in their scalers will like the low gear speed though.

Sorry for the vague answer. Vague answer for vague question.

The exo is wider. Lower. Faster. Has 3 open diffs. Has independent suspension all around.

It's hard to compare them because they're not in the same category IMO.

It's like asking how does that scx10 compare to the Slash?

there is a crawler mode that you can set the stock ESC TO, It is a pain to do it and took me a few attempts but it works

Great answer. I have an EXO and love it, but I don't want another one. I see this truck as a perfect "in between" truck that bridges the gap between crawlers, and trucks like the EXO. Someone was really paying attention to the wants of the crawling crowd when they came up with this... (I suspect Rubba)

I can't wait to get one of these...I may have to up the crawler budget for next month
