Even the name sucks. Sounds like something an old sheriff would have told some outlaws back in like 1870. (Insert super southern draw) I'll be watchin you telluride outta town ( insert tobacco spitting TING sound into a old brass cup). Could have just as easy called it stampedewithanewbodyride

Ehh, I don't think it's so bad. I do hear the till you ride now that you bought it up. Do you feel the same way about others that use geographical names for products like Sedona? Telluride is about as rugged as rugged gets.

Plenty of room for bad names in this industry ..ridgecrest ..summit and ...creeper ..makes me thinks of my old next door neighbor
List goes on !

Re: Traxxas telluride

I was a little suprised. I love my SCT for the fast running tearing up the dirt but if you want to compete with the Crawl/trail/scale trucks they should have brought something better than this. Even the price point doesn't seem right. Axial is king here and I wouldn't be caught driving this Telluride. Maybe my sons will get it to beat on but thats about it. Maybe my son will stop driving my SCX10 if I got him this.

Re: Traxxas telluride

I'll buy one for the sole reason of whipping the local Axial nuts around me. This will be fun.

I don't see it being a big seller, independent front and rear. maybe not a bad idea but make it more realistic.
Depending on price it would be a good kids rig

Well, if they named it after that, that is some serious false advertising.

Would be like me coming out with a new brand of these and naming them Brickyard

I thought the box of tissues was to wipe the tears of disapointment for who actualy thought traxxas would build a real crawler

Re: Traxxas telluride

Just maybe, the IFS and IRS might be useful if we need to use them in a scale 0 rig.

Cheers

Re: Traxxas telluride

I just got one of these rigs last night, smothing different from the wraiths, ax's and scx's on my bench. Gotta say, its fun, went to my favorite crawling spot and drove it rock bouncer style :-) it'll never out crawl my crawlers, but who cares. You want a crawler, buy a crawler, you want a a a basher, get a basher. Yes, its a Pede 4x4 chassis with Rally arms, sct tires, and a bunch of other "leftover" Traxxas parts, but hey, spares and upgrades are easy to get. I think its funny reading all you guys bitching about this truck or that truck. Who cares what who drives, have some fun, after all we're all grown men and women playing with little toy cars....
