cheers for the comments guys 4XADICT, soz about the size!!, the next vid I will prob do in small chunks instead Ace, ......ROFL.... I was thinking of mailing IMEX and asking them what they could do for me!!! SR5Dave, It's all magic and voodoo!!!! .....and if you don't believe that then I'd have to say, low COG, nice slow driving and if ya look closely at the vid you'll see I attack the couch at a slight angle, which helps the rear wheel to grab the couch. All of Misfit was fabbed from scap ali (apart form axles!!) so there was a lot of trial and error and luck!!!! |

Very nice, I am impressed. You should get some new rubber, I'm sure those stock maxx tires aren't giving you peak performance.

That truly is a nice video. Sure it was a long download time, but definitely worth it. I showed my wife (who isn't into this "Toy" stuff.. hahaha) and she was impressed. The couch was just the coolest and when we thought that couldn't be topped, you started hitting the cat posts at different angles. That was cool. When I look at the rig, it just appears to be so top heavy knowing the batteries are all up in in that body, but when you watch it run, it is like glue to the earth. Definite thumbs up on all accounts. Quality rig. Quality filming. Quality driving. More videos should be like that one. -Sam |

Very Nice! Would love to see some detailed pic and articale on the making of MISFIT! It only took 1 sec for me to download that video. Just want to thanks Matt. I was thinking of not making my RC crawler scence I've been so busy the past 4-5 months but your video inspired me to start it back up again. |

Hey wsr_jeeper, I had the same inspiration from watching Mudcow vids, they where what totally hooked me. Been working on the truck since last November doing bits when I can. Finally at a stage where I'm really happy with it. Check out all the crawling sites, ask stupid questions!! pinch cool ideas!! Then go make yourself a cool crawler. I've had really helpful advice from crawling dudes on forums, always willing to help newbie's |

| Re: Misfits indoors trials vid Your crawler is the sh*&. I am impressed with how it was able to climb the couch with ease. Hopefully when I get mine built, it will be as versitle as that. Good job. :P |

Great vid - why do i get the feeling your wife was out while you made it ? :wink I only say that because I made this move with my unmoded TLT while mine was out http://www.tamiyaclub.com/moviecomment.asp?id=84 I gave up on the TLT shortly afterwards - lol |

cheers , wives only get in the way eh!!! Cute little vid ya made, unfortunatly the TLT needs a bit of modding to be half decent crawler. Do you have a new crawler project on the go? Where in the UK are ya? I'm in Cardiff, Wales. Cheers Mat | |

Hiya Saw you vids down on the welsh coast - till I saw your post a bit further down I had you down for being in the states - that landscape is great. I'm based in Nottingham, midlands - finding decent place to crawl is very hard. I've given the TLT to my daughter not and she loves it. Can't face getting another bug of trying to modify it. In the video section there are a couple of video of mt bigger crawlers - may favourite being my Boyer based chassis. My Gecko is close in second. About the only project I've got on Monster truck wise is an Emaxx which I'm currently hopping up - but thats going to be a speed machine. Cheers Chris |
