Tyre comparison with Vaterra Ascender

Just got my new scorpios mounted up yesterday, Theyre certainly tall, verdict is still out on whether I'm going to like them or not, theyre following Pitbull Rock Beast IIs so time will tell. I did mount them with the stock foam as of now with seems VERY stiff. Did you go with the comp cut inner and medium outer CIs?

I didn't use the foams that came with the scorpios, a buddy has got the stock foams in his Scorpios and they don't seem too stiff, I believe this tyre needs a stiffer foam anyway as the sidewall is very thin and soft.

straight away I started using CI 4.50 standard inners and medium outers front and rear. They were very good but started getting a bit soft. Now running a set of CI dueces wild TSL XL foams in them, they seem very good as well, Tyres are vented and water drains out quickly. Also seems to steer and side hill better with these foams. The dueces wild foams are a fair bit firmer than anything else I have used, but just seem to work great. Truck weighs 7 pounds 12 ounces.

I would like to see how they perform against the rock beasts!

Edit, DukeMinnex, just checked out your Bomber build. Your tyres are 2.2 size, I'm running the smaller 1.9 size on my little crawler, so my info won't be much help!
