Not very on current gearing. Im.debaring a swap to brushless. The 27t Holmes and stock Vaterra gearing I have now are great for scale speed, but it'd be cool to watch it fly across the snow.

It looks super cool, and I would agree, a bit more speed would amp up the fun factor a bit. Always wanted to set a rig up on tracks, but it’s so bloody cold here in the winter I find running the transmitter with bare hands impossible. It’s just too uncomfortable so my RC’s see little winter action. How is the COG?

COG is not bad. Definitely lower than before butI haven't really put it in many climbing/side-hilling situations. I too have been dealing with super cold temps here in Minnesota. -2* F here right now and that's not factoring in the wind chill. Now I'm fighting a cold of my own so I doubt I'll get it out much this weekend but I'm going to try. Luckily today is a short day at work for me.
