Great video.

I thought the BRX-01 was linked front and rear?

Are the rear leaf springs an option?

Looking forward to more on your build.

I too think a BRX-01 will find a place in my collection at some point. 👍🏼

He mentioned buying the rear leaf kit around the 8:30 mark, it is linked front and rear stock.

Thanks for sharing Joe!

That leaf kit really does appear to cycle smooth! The BRX01 isn't on my list, but it looks well thought out, and has a whole lot of features I can appreciate.

I guess I shouldn’t try to listen to my wife and watch a video at the same time!

This kit is on my radar for my next build, need to get my monster truck build done first. Would be a nice winter build.

I am not a kIT person, I decided against KITs after my first Wraith KIT build, but last summer I saw the BRX01 in real-life and it amazed me.

Yes, the BRX01 comes with a 4 link rear and a 3 link and Panhard rod in the front. I got the rear leaf springs kit as an additional extra and removed a couple of the leafs because the back of the BRX01 is not heavy in stock format. Future mods might reveal the need for the other leafs, we shall see

Thanks for watching guys.

I just placed an order for the BRX01 kit. As I am new to the RC world I’m hoping you guys might have some suggestions for the required electronics to finish the build.

No specific budget, just looking for quality and compatibility. Thank you in advance for any advice!

3 Channel Radio System
- Suggestions?
ESC (electronic speed control)
- Suggestions?
Steering Servo
- Suggestions? Will run factory 1.55 wheels at first.
540 or 550 Motor (27T for off-road matched with provided 12T pinion gear)
- What 540 27T motor would be best?
Battery
- Suggestions? I’ve got a Floureon 11.1V 20C 1000mAh 2 cell (JST). I’m guessing I’ll need something bigger.

I cannot suggest a radio as I use a Spektrum DX8, which I had from my flying days. Never used the "gun" type radio. Wouldn't know where to start!

ESC: I find the HobbyWing 1080 ESC reliable and great for some trailing and rock crawling. I have it on all of my RCs except 2.

Servo: I went for the Savox SW-1210SG - it's waterproof and has enough torque for an RC with 2.2 wheels.

There is a variety of motors out there and for about $10 you can get a 540 motor ranging from 21T up to 80T from www.banggood.com or ebay.co.uk. I use the 45T and the 55T most.

Any 2S or 3S LIPO battery from your local hobby shop, avoid problems with shipping..

Hope this helps.
