I miss the gold old days when people posted pictures and words. Not just a link to a youtube video.

OP - Don't take it personally, this is definitely not intended as an attack on you. I understand that's the way it is nowadays, I just don't like watching videos on the internet so I miss out on a lot of information.

I will “defend” the op about the why for these things.

You’re right that technical driving isn’t really ideal with these but they’re great for the walk to get the crawling spot. For me, that walk is often 15 minutes or more so having one hand free to talk/drink/smoke/whatever is pretty handy..

I have them on all my radios. I like them for walking the trail and for having a free hand in case I fall. Broke my knee in January and the surgery made me lose a lot of balance on my right side.

Lol, fair point. I actually didn't realize that - I just cruise the forum via the "new posts" button so I tend to forget to pay attention what sub-forum I'm in..
