It’s a shame these trucks didn’t get off to a good start. They didn’t get good reviews with their crappy transmission and the cross member for the t-case was wuss sauce. But with the proper upgrades like the billet transmission with mod 1 gears and the aluminum cnc skid plate, this truck is awesome. If I had gotten the C model with the steel axles, I probably would not have done the ar44 swap. I say if you can find one, get one. https://youtu.be/ndmektn374A |

I have a Cross KR4-C. I built it with the upgraded trans from the start. It’s a really nice rig. All of the “C” kit upgrades are nice. Love the overall kit. Was a super pleasing kit to build and the kit shocks, metal axles, heavy beadlocks, and great tires with dual stage foams made for a great rig. I also built it with the MIP cvds as well just for peace of mind. Great rigs when built with the upgraded transmission, just unfortunate that their customer service is absolutely horrible. If not for that, I’d have absolutely added a few more of their kits to my collection.
