Default The simple FJ40 vid

First off I hate editing video.... It took me a couple hours just to edit the video, and another two hours until I found the right file conversion options that I was happy with.

Length 6:49
Size 17.M

Thanks

When you say do this, are you refering to building and driving scale rigs, or attacking each others scale rigs? Either way, I have more fun driving around my scale rig then I do my comp rig

I'm with you on the editing crap mike I hate doing it with a passion. Nearly every video I have made, some even taking more the week to edit have recieved lots of bad criticism. Just not worth it to me any more.

Great video though, footage was well centered camera angles were good. Liked that tiny Rick jeep section at the end.

Thanks Ben, I have another clip of your jeep, I might upload that for you later this week. Its a clip where you didn't roll over But rolling and destruction was how I ended the vid

Its hard driving and shooting vid at the same time... I might have to make one of those fancey PVC balance pods.

sweet vid, and sweet rig. I was surprised at how capable it was for a scale rig. Does it have front dig?

Thanks, I would never put dig on a scale rig. I just kept the suspension low which helped keep the CG low as well

Its where we hold pretty much all of our comps, though we have started looking at other options. Its a good sized park though.

Another nice thing about running the scale rigs after the comps, is that I have less of a chance of breaking my comp rig

I was only refering to the hate editing part.

Ahh that makes sense now I think some people do enjoy it..... I don't know how, but they do? Maybe they go quicker after you do a few and get used to the flow?

I think I know the drag race at the end. However, I have tried 2 times to watch the whole thing and it won't play till the end. Oh well, I was there... Mike we are going to need to get a film crew shooting the next comp/scale fest.

Ryan, I downloaded it at work here and it did the same thing to me? Just looked at the file and it looks like it was a partial download for some reason, might be that all the downloads are pushing the limits of the server. I am downloading it again at work here, and its doing better this time around.

If it is still a problem tonight, I will upload it to youtube as well. Ryan, you need to watch the entire vid

Edit: Still not downloading completly, I am going to file a support ticket with my host and see what is up. Maybe my host is to crappy to host vids like this? If so, then Youtube it is.

Is the end where it fades out? If so, works for me. I just snagged it here at work.

Yeah, right after Ryan decides to attack my FJ40

I can't get it to download at work here, but the connection is slow and it times out. I'll upload it to youtube for those that have trouble getting it off my site. If you have a good connection, there shouldn't be any issues.
