How did the new foams do?

i personally swear by 'em, but you might think i'm biased.:-P they stuck like glue. they really hold and conform to the surface. i've been using them for several months now, and i have no complaints.

btw, i had a customer weigh them for me and heres what they said. a 40 series, regular foam came in around 1 ounce. a red KREEPY-STRIPPER uncut, came in at a WHOPPING 13 OUNCES!!!:shock: that my friends, is a good thing. i dont have the exact weight of the 2.2 inserts yet.

there is a bunch of people who got them at the comp, and they will be giving their own opinions of how they like, or dislike them, stay tuned...

What are you guys using to mark the courses, looks like yellow paint :shock:

no too sure, i personally didnt mark it, but i believe it is that yard/landscape paint (you hold the can upside down), and yes, it washes off of the rocks in a couple of days/weeks."thumbsup"

NO >>>NOT PAINT it is spray chaulk. We would never use anything that would damage the rocks or are chances and oppertunities to use them again.

There was a bonus gate another 4 feet up that rock, but nobody was able to make it to it. That climb was around 70*:twisted: doesn't look like it because the camera was tilted.

yeah it was the finish gate and nobody had climed the bonus to that point. I was going for time just in case some body beat my -1

Nathan, I dont know if you missed it but after words torry, chad ,and mike (ibracin,grover and smr4runner)all climbed the bonus. It was crazy:shock:

I did not see them do that, but I knew it was doable.....as I have done it with the SW2"thumbsup" 8)

Is that the same rock you shoot pics of the scaler making an attemt at ?

No, it was higher up, closer to the cliffs, but it is real close to the same angle. When I made it up the rock to the bonus gate, I did have mashers on that time, I didn't make it up there with the moabs on saturday. I have noticed that on those rocks, the mashers will do better climbing straight up stuff with wheelspeed, while the moabs will hold on the sidehills and technical stuff better.
And if you were impressed with the traction there, the rocks at the other spot in Yakima actually offer even more traction, as they don't crumble away.

Naw, traction is over rated I like leval of difficulty:)
