Looking good! Dropping one tooth would certainly help the control a lot. It looks like you dont use wheelspeed anyway.

Never been a big fan of Wheel Speed.. I'm more of a nice and Slow guy. I seem to last longer that way... I mean do better, I mean score more...Higher...

Very impressive

I would like to see some pictures without body at some point. I'm very fussy about equipment layout.

Loved the dig looks like a winner

Power to spare and then some.

There is a Whole build thread in the Clod Section. Something like 8 pages or so.

The tires are brand new. I'm going to run two packs with zero foams and break the tires in real good. Just like I did on my 1:1's.. Zero Air for a good trail ride breaks them in. Should be the same for these.

The Foams are the Pinkys from KreepyKrawlers. But they were cut wrong and made for 40's wheels. So they don't get right. I now have new ones that are made for that tire. So after I break the tires in. I'll put them in.

There is a few ways to do it... Do a search for Digs, front burns or DUD...

When using an airplane dual stick radio, you can set one stick for rear motor power and the other stick for front motor power. Applying a little reverse to the rear motor, while applying more power to the front motor willl produce rear dig. Once the front wheels start spinning, turning left or right allows the front to come around. There are other ways to do it, but that is how I set my super up. The key is to only apply enough reverse on the rear motor to create resistance to lock the wheels. Two much reverse will allow the rear wheels to spin backwards and you will be assessed a 1 point reverse penalty at most comps. The same applies for applying front dig, just apply the power to the motors accordingly.

Nice rig, 2jeepn

Nice rig, 2jeepn

So far I haven't had to Rev to lock the rear up yet. I believe thats due to smaller tires having less leverage to roll. Thats all drag brake there. I'm still learning how to drive it. It's a completely new beast now. I even rebuilt my old rig, just in case I don't get used to it fast enough. Got to have a nice reliable back up. I like to keep things K.I.S.S...But didn't do that this time..

Oh and thanks for the compliment.
