By drilling the springs ,there going to be weak ! just make a block or plate to hold them down.

I guess what I should have said is,By drilling two 3mm holes in the spring .Drilling a pin hole to center the leaf and use a block / plate to hold down the leaf . I will try to post up my set up that I'm working on . |

I also have a set of these leafs. I haven't mounted them yet. I thought they were really stiff compared to the Diaz ones I am acustom to running. I do NOT run a trac bar on my Diaz ones and have had good luck with them. Yes, I have broken a few sets, but I think every time was due to some kind of stupidity on my part. Obi, nice video, love the look of the Crew Cab. I will have to build another truck to run side by side with the Diaz stuff to make my decision. It seems to me if we run plastic leafs for better flex then we must also understand we get nothing for free...you will BREAK THEM if you don't drive it with care. Keep up the good work. Glad to see Darkhorse and Diaz giving us all options. Ryan Last edited by BigBaller; 08-10-2007 at 08:48 AM. |
