It is the same internals as the standard R2........so the same will hold true.

I will be installing one in SticksNStones BMV as soon as the other 2 trannies show up it is BL

Do you actually have to stop the truck to re engage four wheel drive ? looking at the vid it stopped every time you re engaged 4wd , will it not re engage without stopping first ?

Interesting. . .

Looks like it works just like it is supposed to."thumbsup" Did you try the freewheeling mode or was that always lock. I didn't see the rear wheels roll any of the times. Good luck with the R2 and brushless, unless they are small motors, I learned my lesson the hard way, and now run brushed again in the comp rigs, I threw the brushless in the scaler.;-)

on one of em I did start out on coast and then to dig half way through the turn

it works OK and does bind once in awhile and you need to rock it a tad to get it unstuck

PROTOTYPE 08-12-2007 08:40 AM

Are you testing it for rc4wd or just testing to see if you like it?

Interesting, I was wondering if it was totally smooth everytime or if it hangs up once in a while. Good to know it has quirks, just like most other setups.:)

try to shift it while its on a steep incline and pressure against the mechanism....anything is hard to shift....of course Im just using a hpi sf1 throttle servo also
