| Nor-Cal 2007 Fall/Wint Comp 3, Folsom
Here is the video of comp #3 at Folsom Lake. It was drizzling most of the day so the courses were pretty slick. The video is kinda long. I threw some bonus footage at the end. I will try to post up another link tomorrow for those who have dial-up and have difficulty with this link. http://www.mydeo.com/videorequest.as...814&CID=156888 The google link for slower connections. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...83952793014329 Last edited by montereycrawler; 01-11-2008 at 07:41 PM. |

Looks like you guys do it big in NorCal. Seems you have some diabolical course designers out there too!!! Did Bender happen to make a trip? Looks like fun and I am jealous, we keep getting snow and can't get on the rocks.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuude. Bad ass man. I loved the dedication to the man, Brandon. Talk about smooth running. Another sweet spot was the capture of Dean on #3 going up that super steep climb. Just showed how much control he has over his rig. Great job man. -Sam |

Great Vid! thanks for sharing. I have to admit it's nice seeing how many drivers were using our Claws, I even saw a couple Grappler bodies. Thanks to everyone running our products. |

Nice work Lance, I always enjoy watching your vids. And stages looked pretty brutal, but obviously completable with the right line |

Thanks everyone. Nathan, yeah the courses that Sam sets are pretty tough but lots of fun. Folsom Lake is a great location and the courses offered a lot of variety. |

The video just shows how amazing the terrain is at Folsom. There is a lot of skill involved in each gate/obstacle to make it through them and I think drivers are stepping up HUGE in skill because of the difficulty. People are reading the courses more. Course #1 though was a bit rough. The intended line wasn't taken by most because there was a different line that some were getting lucky on. So most, including myself, opted for a near guaranteed miss of the gate and hoping the landing worked out ok. The intended line was a lower side hill crawl that I was hoping people would get some wheel speed up and do a wall broady, but nobody did, so neither did I. I was doing too well at that point to take a "new" route. Once again, great vid Lance. I can't wait to see DJ use the dig. -Sam |
