The vids I shot are grainy. I selected high resolution but its not very clear. I think I'll goto the Movie maker website and see if I can pick up some tips. Do you have any suggestions?

Movie Maker won't make your videos less grainy. What format is your video coming out of the camera? How are you getting the video into the computer?

How do they look on your computer before you upload them. How it gets compressed might be your issue if it looks good on your computer. Ok I did a little research Mudcows "The Distance" is 2:22 min long @ 6 mb Kawetos "The Rock" is 1.27 min long @ 3.85 mb My 1st video is 1.25 min long @ 8.76 mb Your uphill video was 2.15 min long @ 1.65 mb Play around with your settings, but something is compressing the S#!* out of your video.

Definately something compressing. I know I made a 30sec video and it was nearly 1mb. Windows Movie maker has different compression options right before you save. It says high quality, medium, and there is custom too. If it is too big of a file, I go to custom and select the internet download speed that gets the best quality at a reasonable size.

Try going to custom and start out with a DSL option, and then if the file is to large delete it and save it again at a lower quaity, also make a master copy at the best quality it can get...trust me youll want to have this later...
