running a 27t motor with a GD600..gearing on the 600 is the stock 18t pinion that comes with the GD600, then a 12t pinion off that ,onto a 72t spur gear

Twisted, You have confirmed that a shafty can compete indoors as well as outside. I liked the double back flip dismount. |

I guess my crawler just sucks cuz I cant pull that one off if my life depended on it so much money into that thing and I cant even climb a damn couch  I tried narrowed kongs, rdlogic nubbies, and armark nubbies I give up, just goes to prove not all crawlers are created equal |

LOL.. I think it is just how i designed that one all the weight is low, if not , it's up front. the axles are made from 5/16" solid rod steel w/ 3/16" solid rod bracing.the whole chassis is made from 3/16" brakeline.the truck RTR weighs like 9 lbs and i think 8lbs of it is in the axles and tires I also have the rear end setup kinda stiff, so it helps elminate some of the torque twist problems that shafties have. there is noway in hell my current truck could do it either. so now i have to build me a new one to compete with this one |

My Womper could crawl up my couch, but couches, depending on the fabric, have incredible traction. Since they can deform a bit, it's easy for a rubber tire to pull itself up once it grabs. Rocks are much more impressive! ;) cool video, your truck is awesome! Go shafty! ryan |
