| Scale crawling at Lizard's Mouth in Santa Barbara, CA
My buddy Tamiya Runner from Scale4x4 got some great video from our run yesterday at Lizard's Mouth here in Santa Barbara, CA. This has got to be some of the best crawling in SoCal, and we've got it right in our backyard... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaRI4pmT9YU Anybody who'd like to come out and drive is more than welcome, just PM me or post here for info. We've got a site going up soon: http://www.sbcrawlers.com/ Steve |

Is this "THE" Surfimp? Dude! Nice vid- Love the scalers, and the terrain! If you are ever heading out this way be sure to bring your implements for both air and rocks- we could have some good fun! Crawling is a great challenge- almost as technical as acro slermal/DS with a nice rig... Nice to see you here! Cody WIlson |

| The one and only, baby! I fought the crawler compulsion for a long time, but when Tamiya released the Hilux, "resistance was futile." I had no idea it was gonna be this much fun! If I ever get out there you can bet I'll bring my rig along with "Surfimp's Flying Circus" Steve |

Nice video. From what I remember and what I saw in the video that's a great spot to crawl. I used to spend a lot of time around SB. If you guys ever venture up Hwy. 33, from what I recall Sespe gorge, Lions Campground (Rose Valley rd.) and Pine Mountain all have good spots as well. Pine Mountain is awesome if you wanted to camp (in the summer). I think the end of Paradise Rd. near Cachuma also has some potential. It's been quite a while so can't remember that clearly. Gibralter Rock off of Gibralter road should have a small area to crawl as well. Well, have fun down there and thanks for sharing the video. |
