You weren't the only one.
It made sense in Montana cuz noone said you couldn't do it. I was pissed cuz I didn't think of it. But I think we shouldn't allow it.

Thanks again for the compliments on the video.

Trees are slim out at RR. I'm going to have to add more winch line.

You weren't there, you can't bitch. I think it's ok as long as the foot doesn't move.

You were missed though, same with you Patrick.

Thanks Jason,
Those axles caught my attention straight away and that is why I asked.

We were all telling the drivers to use their foot, so it's definitely not like someone was trying get around anything.

I know. I was just too worn out from Saturday and all the work over the past couple weeks it took to get ready. I needed a sleep in day.

It's all cool. However, I think it would be fun to say that if neither you or your teammate can make it, you have to ask someone from another team to be the winch anchor. That person would then get a bonus for helping. That could be fun.
But again, it's not a big deal.

That was an idea originally, but just by helping your teammate alone guys were scoring in the -200 points range. So adding another bonus (-) was out of the question. It become very apparent from that comp that the rules definitely need to be tweaked because there's some definite flaws in them right now. You should talk to twisted about the stuff, it sounds like you have a little better idea on some of the scoring stuff, I trust ya.

i edited the rules the day after the comp...
The whole rewarding the recovery rig when his "buddy" gets stuck was a bad idea... i actually got these basic rules off of scale4x4rc, so this first round was a trial in its own sense. So give the new rules a read.

2008 Crawlerado Scale Series

these seem like they should work alittle better for the Team Buddy Gated Runs

Im cool with the Whole shoe winching as long as you foot does not move and a recovery vehicle is not available. Due to the location, it was the agreement of the masses.

cant wait to see everyone at the next one! And Bender.. Awsome as usual!!!!
