| Mount Trashmore GTG Planning
OK it looks like there are a more rc crawlers in the area than I thought there would be. Jetroc0088 and I have just started heading out to Mount Trashmore on a weekly basis, usually Thursday. We'd like to get some more of the locals out as well as some that are a little further away. trailduster79 mentioned interest in a weekedn gtg. So is there any interest in having a get together at Trahsmore in the near future? Possibly a Saturday or Sunday before the weather turns cold? Post up yay or nay and any suggested dates.

| Sounds awesome! And as for the weather, I can stand the cold a bit, but it just seems that whenever it's cold around here it's also rainy.:-(

Well it looks like this Saturday (9/27) might get some rain, but Sunday is looking very nice. So I'll throw this out there. How about a GTG this Sunday, say around 11, at Trashmore? Anybody up for that?

I should be able to make it out. All my rigs are in pieces right now but should have something together by then. |

I"ll try and make it as well, been really busy since Nats and I'm dying to crawl. Let's set up a comp course and score it like we do in the series.

Thanks to everyone who turned out. Kinda sucks that we got booted from Trashmore but Hobby Town turned out to be pretty fun. After taking to crashnburn69 it sounds like Bell's Island should be the next crawling trip. Hopefully I can get my wheelbase back down to competition length and work out a few more little issues before then.

| Travis was enthralled by Belle Isle Saturday. :-P I think it's one of the best places in VA to crawl. At least that I've found so far. I'm sure there are other good places (like Great Falls) but I've just not been there yet.

I've been to both Bell's and Great Falls. Both places have tons of rocks, but Great Falls is usually very crowded and we might find it difficult to get a good hassle free place to crawl. | |

What time were you guy's there, I waited til 11:15 and left thinking nobody was gonna show. Didnt think to go by HT though. I can't believe the City /staff would object to adults and their children using the rocks for recreation, I could understand if it was kids running or rock hopping. Its all about legal liability these days, sad but true. Wonder if we should apply for a permit .

someone had a case of the mondays or something cuz, maybe 15min before we had to get off the rocks. i was told i wasn't aloud to run my truck up and down the hill.. the guy had no explanation but, that lady in the office will be gone soon and it didn't matter to him at all.
