If possible one of you guys email me tomorrow and give me directions as I am not real familiar with that section. I know generally how to get there but not certain. Perhaps we could meet up at the Sportsman and I could follow you guys in.

sounds about right.. when you take the left on little river dam road.. take the immediate left after you cross the bridge over the little river. you will see the dam on your left as you cross the bridge.. stay left and there's a small parking lot right at the dam.

Pretty sure the Vintage Cellar is still kickin.. I know a guy that works there, but i think he transferred to the one in blacksburg. I could be wrong, but as far as i know its still there. With the economy though... so many good small business's have gone under its hard to tell.

I may leave a little early and go check. I have been craving some Young's Double Chocolate Stout for weeks now.

toward the beginning of summer i heard people talking about the vintage cellar having some crazy sale because they weren't getting much business. can't vouch for whether they're still open or not, though. i'm anxious to check out the new spot. that picture looks killer

yeah bluezephyr, sucks you couldn't come today...we'll most likely be there on sunday, though. that place is a complete blast to crawl...and it has lights so you can see at night. we ended up only snapping a couple of pics because i forgot my camera and only had my phone. the first pic is an overview of all the rocks...it looks flat, but where i was standing is about 30-40 feet above the river and most of the rock faces are about 45 degrees or so i think. second one is a detail shot of one of the fun obstacles. awd199, shadowwalking...awesome meeting you guys today. message us anytime for crawling.

If the scaler tags along might not use it much Kind of still babying it a little. Anyhow talk at you later.

awd199, adale4130, jsowens, glad to meet all you guys, nice rigs as well.

We talked about "Lil' Moab" as we call it, here is a vid shot by R1Seven of us about 2 years ago up there.

Yeah like jsowens said that pic is from WAY up there, lol, its easily 200 feet from that little outcrop of rocks in the water to give you an idea of some distance.
