Def. let me know when you're heading up to the mountain, I want to check it out. Me and scott hit up the dam yesterday because the weather was so nice. Right now, the water is roaring there (it's literally spilling over the top of the dam, i have never seen it so crazy). All the good lines around the bottom are covered, and its like one huge waterfall on the rocks closest to the dam. (i will post up a pic tonight)

Me and scott were talking about the next times we go if the water is down a bit, we are going to go down the river closer to the bridge to check that out. From the road there looks like some really cool stuff down there that we haven't even made it to.

Also, I would like to go back up to lil' moab sometime in the near future. It was pretty fun, and I can't wait to get the honcho out this year for some scaler action.

It was crazier than that on Monday. They had one gate completely open. The good thing is, the upper rocks, including the toilet bowl, are 100% crawlable. Me and Adam also discovered a new toilet bowl line...you guys are in for a treat haha.

We are talking about going up to Roanoke to "Lil' Moab" this coming Sat. (4/17). (weather permitting of course)
If anyone is interested that doesn't know how to get there just give one of us a yell.

It's been over a year since we've posted in here and haven't tried to arrange a get together anytime lately. Now that the weather is warm, I think we should try to plan something up for a Sunday soon. Perhaps some Dam crawling or a Lil' Moab trip. What do you guys think?

Sounds like a plan to me. I would be in for the 1st or 2nd or any other Sunday in the next few weeks.

Same here. I have pretty much every Sunday off work now, so I'll chit chat with Adam and the other guys and see what we can plan up. Perhaps one of the first couple of weekends in June would work.

Anyone still doing anything here? I'm going to school at Radford this fall and want to do some crawling down here while I'm at it.

I havent been crawling much lately but need to get back at it. Let me and jsowens know, we'll hit up the dam.

Also, going to check out a new spot today. Dismal Falls, off of rt. 606 in bland co. I think when the creek is low it will be an amazing spot. As you can tell there is hardly a creek there at the moment.. Probably not as much rock exposed during heavier rainfall periods. But there are some trails and stuff in this area too that we will explore.

Definitely hit one of us up for some crawling. I live in Radford and have most evenings free. We were talking today about a possible get together soon.

Let me know whenever you all want to do a GTG. I'm open for travel all month except 8/26-8/28.

Anything new? I'm down here and almost have my crawler ready to go, turns out I'm only 12 minutes away from little river dam, I want to get some practice in!

We haven't crawled at the dam in a little while. Lately we've been going to Bland, VA to Dismal Falls to run scalers, but I'm still in Radford and am always down for crawling. Shoot me a PM.

I live in Botetout and go up on the Blue Ridge Parkway from time to time. Go to the spot right after where the falls are if you was headed from Roanoke on the parkway toward Buchanan it would be the next overlook (i think) or a few after. It would be on your right. Big hill and lots of rocks there to crawl
