I am fairly new to R/C and have a slightly modified Trail Honcho. I have a co-worker who has a SCX10. We have built a trail behind his house and it is still a work in progress. I was wondering if there are any good places in the area that anyone knows about or if there will be any GTG's in the Richmond area coming up.

there are three of us who live up in mechanicsville. i think i'm the only one out of us who runs scalers though. i would strongly suggest the southside of belle isle. it's about 10-15 acres of smooth rolling rock, excellent for scalers. also, forest hill park is really good, but smaller. really rough on a rig though. if haven't already, you should check out and join scale4x4rc.org. how old are you guys? There are a few of us. We run monthly 2.2 and sportsman comps. We used to run scale comps also but everyone running scale quit showing up. If interset comes back for scale or if you guys want to come out on comp days and setup and run scale comps you are more than welcome.
