xr10 kit
hb rovers
vanquish products trans cases, knuckles, and c hubs
ugc viper chassis
axial level 3 upgrade high clear. link kit
and 2 tekin 45t hd motors

this is just the first batch of stuff, if anyone is running an xr10 or can give me some feedback, please chime in whenever.

Sweet, comp is where it's at!
XR-10's are very good rigs when built correctly with the right parts.
Hurry up and get it together, VARCOR is having a comp this Saturday!

With a punk you only need 1 esc.

Gotta pay to play, I don't know anything about Tekin motors, If your not looking to comp and are just gonna bash around any motor will probably suit you just fine. If you are looking into serious competition crawling a good set of handwounds are what you want.

Instead of running a punk dig, I would recommend going with a wantasummit mix and a 2nd esc, it will give you much more control over a punk dig.

7980 uses a potentiometer and the 7990 uses a magnet, potentiometers can eventually wear out but use less battery power than it's magnetic counterpart. Other than that spec wise 7980 and 7990 are the same.

I suppose those will work if you want to twist plastic wheels into multiple pieces...

Who uses plastic wheels?

I think you would strip a hex in a plastic wheel before a servo would damage them, if you keep plastic wheels tight they can work just fine.
