Hey Clodstall, I think I might know you. Did you ever race
at the old A-1 Flea Market in Christiansburg?
If it's not to much to ask, would you tell me your name? (here or email)
I knew someone who worked at Tetra years ago and I'm curious
if your that person. LMK Thanks!

I have just built a TLT trail truck and a 2nd for a buddy of mine.
We often run various R/C's with a few guys out of Roanoke, and a
couple other areas.
Always looking for other R/C people in this area to run with so if
anyones close give a shout.
Thanks!
that would be cool. i used to live in Dublin over the mtn like you go to blacksburg i think that was the name of the town going that way.. do ou know where Jim Fleshman owned the store at? he owned the little grill eside that also across the creek. my name is Tony.. couple of cousins still live up there. Timmy Stephens ring a bell? heay now to think about it i think the name of that town was Parrisburg right. we need to get together that would be awesome trying to get more people from our club to post also. i see that hvy-dty-1 did. Pulaski county i know where that is.LOL yah i used to live not far from the airport on i think highway # 100. been to the fair right down from there also. been awhile since i have been up there bout time for a trip after the baby gets here anyday now. wife is hurting now so......

Clodstall.
Well the names don't sound familiar but I know where the store is
on the Giles Co. side of Cloyds Mt. There is a grill beside it just
before the road that goes to Little Creek.
The Airport is on the Dublin side of the Mt. about a mile past the
NRV Fairgrounds which is about a mile out of the town of Dublin.
Also yes the road # is 100. I live on 100 also but back towards
Pulaski from Dublin near Newbern. Oh and you were right it's
Pearisburg not Blacksburg that Rt. 100 goes to.
Does that jog your memory?
..or just screw it up worse? lol

it helps alot it is the grill beside of the creek i used to live in the trailer park behind the church when i was little. after i got grown and lived up there about 10 years ago i lived on the road after the creek to the left about 5 miles before the dirt road that goes back towards pulaski. if you know where that is at.. maybe we can get together one day and go crawling up there somewhere i think i still remember a spot up there on the dirt road i am talking about. used to go swimming in that creek a long time ago. jumped off the cliff alot also.. i went to school in dublin the middle school home of the cougars cant remember the name of the school though.. i still have an aunt and uncle that live up there i will go and visit them while i am up there. emutt is my brother he didnt live up there though. i do remember the grill having the best cheeseburgers that i have ever eaten in my life too. well got to go. later tator, Tony.. i might be a little older than you know different people. the nrv airport is on the right going down the mountain. havent been up there since they went straight down the mountain with the road though. my dad drives a truck thru there all the time..

Other than the Dublin Middle School is the home of the Dukes,
the High School is the home of the Cougars. lol
The dirt road you mentioned sounds like Alum Spring Rd.
I know more or less where it comes out onto Little Creek Rd.
I think that grill is still open, I know the store is anyway.
I don't go that way to much.
As for age, based on your profile your about 7 months older than me.
(Telling on myself) lol

I'd be willing to ride over the Mt. to find some crawling spots/trails,
just have to figure out a good day to go.
(Preferably when it's not tooooo cold. lol )
Later

If nothing else, post up a street addy and I'll mapquest. I drive 3 hours west to crawl now, I'd be willing to go that far north.

The Richmond Amtrak station (Staples Mill Rd) is about 5 minutes from my crib...............if you guys get a decent run going, I will be more than happy to shuttle from there to where ever in the Richmond area.

I have about 5 incomplete (okay, far from complete) crawler "projects" going on around here, and about one hour a week to mess with them, but if a GTG around here comes together, I am sure I can get something together to play with.

I live just outside of Suffok in Windsor.

I am in the process of rebuilding my cralwer, so it would be a while before it was ready to do anything major with.

I went to school in Radford, so I know that there are some good places up in the NRV and around Blacksburg and Dublin.
