Newb Sterling VA area

Hey all,

I am new to crawling, but have been RC-ing for many years. I recently picked up an SCX10 Rubicon CRC and have begun to scale it and mod slightly. I will post pics after a quick rinse from last solo trail ride i did. I am hoping to get together with other local RC'rs / Crawlers and learn more skills. I know there is a lot to learn even in scale crawling and hope to pick your brains as well as scour the forums as I move forward.

So if anyone is near Northern VA (Sterling) area and has recommendations on locations besides my local parks, or want to meet up for a group crawl or trail run please let me know.

There used to be a fairly active group of crawlers in the Winchester area but I've been out of the hobby about 5 years. Just getting back in with a couple Losi MRC's so I'm hoping there's still some activity in the area. I post up on the local rc shop fb page asking the same question but I guess it wasn't worth their time to answer. I got the same treatment last time I visited the shop too (I wasn't worth the time to talk to) so it doesn't surprise me that I didn't get an answer.
