Crawlers seem to be every where but VA. I am out in the mountains in Harrisonburg. No one near me that I have found.

If you are ever down Stanley let me know so we can gtg. Hope you know some spots around there. H'burg is not far from Stanley.
I have a buddy that might go with. We both have Nylints. Both sizes.

I'm in Petersburg and I think there is a guy in Richmond that crawls, but have not met him yet. I'm going to start my chassis tomorrow.

H-burg is my old stomping grounds. I'll give yall a shout when I'm going to be that direction. I've been thinking the banks of the Shenandoah down near Port Republic would make for a fun trip. Of course, in the summer, parts of the top of Massanutten would be cool too.

I am fairly certain that there are a pretty good number of crawlers in VA, it just seems that no one wants to drive anywhere to meet up (and I will be honest, I am in the same boat). Also, Joe, scooterracing would be an exception to this rule, since I know he recently went down to GA to crawl.

To plan out anything in VA, you have to split the state into four major areas: NOVA, Central, Hampton Roads, and Shenandoah Valley. And to plan a crawling event, you have to stick to one area and not compromise when all the "well, can't we do it here?" posts.

I litterally have 5+ project trucks sitting around here, and not a single one done (damn home projects). I would still like to get a GTG for Richmond in April, but I just gave up on the idea.

The Shenandoah would have some great places all up and down the river. Just hope that it comes down from the height it is at now.

Ouch! Where's that? Almost looks like it was taken from the town of Shenandoah?

Sorry I thought I had put down that the pics were from just outside of Front Royal. That little bridge saves about 10 minutes for people going home that work in FR and live in the county. That is no where near the highest that I have ever seen it. That seems like it has started going back down within the last 2-3 weeks.
Shenandoah looks just as bad near where I live. Still very high, but not that bad.
