The Stage 2 upgrade is almost complete, still have to modify the shocks and the steering upgrades.

I just found this thread! I am on rccrawler about every day, but never really checked the get together section because I was tired of only reading about those left coasters. Good to see all this happening locally! I have been into rc's pretty much since the Frog era, but I am almost done with my first crawler. All I need is servos and batterys. I will post more info on my rig soon. I am keeping an eye out for the Get togethers in Great Falls! I am in! Thanks, Greg ps. RUDEZUK: Would be glad to stop by and lend a hand sometime with the tracks. I lived in Manassas for a few years and am now in Gainesville/Haymarket |

Looks great. Now you and I have twins. I have a bug body instead. Also when you get around to it the TCS boomerangs for the rear is a nice addition. I can't wait to see all the rigs in the Spring. |

Well I might as well toss in my .02. I'm not fully indoctrinated into crawling yet (seeing as I have yet to get one). I'd still like to attend a GTG to see what it is really like.

Welcome to the board. All you northern VA'ers and everyone else. We should be planning our first comp for sometime around April 2008. It will be held in Fredericksburg. It seems to be the best central location at this point. So get busy and finish all those trucks. You will have no excuse being you have 4 months to finish all those started project, cough, cough, Robb and Thor.. Remember when we do set a date we will be posting it in the comp thread. So keep and eye out for it in Jan. <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->__________________ |

For all thiose that wish to know, I was talking to the owner of Awesome RC in Stafford last night and turns out that they have a RC track in Fredericksburg. They mainly run nitro rc there, but they are in the process of building a Rock Crawling section there. I'm not sure how far along it is in completion, but nonetheless, they are building one. I'll talk to the owner again today and find out if they will be doing comps there or not.

Well with the exception of a body, here she is guys! Runs really nice, in the living room anyways, looking forward to getting her out on some rocks. Now about the body, I've tried pick up bodies, suburban bodies, and a hummer body. Nothing really struck me that I liked. Now check this, I do have a Bushwacker body that I'm thinking about cutting just behind the front door and adding some lexan panels to stretch it out to match the full 17" wb. To me thats sounds kinda cool. But just to throw it out there, do you guys have any ideas for bodies?
