Sorry haven't been on in a while. That picture was taken at Hanover wayside park on 301. Cold Harbor and Gaines Mill battlefields both have decently long trails as well. I go to Cold Harbor, Belle Isle and Forest Hill Park in Richmond quite a bit.

I've heard of Belle isle and Forest Hill Park. But they're so far away from me it's hard to get there. Didn't know Hanover had a park that's rc friendly. Thanks

Not super far but Belle Isle is worth the drive, especially the southern part of the park where the dry rocks are. Forest Hill Park is right down the street. Maybe a 45min-1 hour drive depending on where you're at.

There's typically anywhere from 2-10 guys at Belle's onna Saturday morning. They're pretty cool.

Zoar park in KW might have some decent trails, haven't been there in a long time. If you decide to come up to Richmond let me know. It's worth it.

Hi guys, new to the group, just got back in to RC after a 25ish year hiatus. Where do people usually go on belle isle? Just cruise around the island or is there a specific spot people tend to gather? I'd like to go check it out some time.

Wow! I have not been on here in years. Glad to see VARCOR is still used. Most people around Richmond run Belle Isle and Forest hill. Talk to Mike at Hobbytown in Chesterfield county. He can fill you in on all the locations. Mike owns crawlers and is a great source of info. Hobbytown most likely will be hosting an event at Belle Isle sometime this year.

Haha I went to hobby town to get some shock oil and asked the dude if they had any softer shock springs that would fit a redcat gen 7 and he just said “all we really carry parts for is Traxxas”. Wth dude? I REALLY hope that wasn’t Mike I talked to!
