Default GTG for Zach in VA - December 15th

VARCOR will be hosting a GTG for Zach to test out his new RCC built crawler. It is going to be December 15th in Fredericksburg, VA.

The plan is to arrive at 10:00 AM, do some crawling for a while, go somewhere to eat lunch, and then crawl some more. Myself and hopefully some others will be there early to set up some courses.

So, anyone interested in heading to Fredericksburg, VA on December 15th, please come and join us. It's going to be a fun time. I personally can't wait to see Zach driving that truck.

Here is the address that will put you right at the entrance. There are houses on one side and parking along the street on the opposite side in front of the park.

Ficklen/Mill Island
344 Riverside Dr.
Fredericksburg, VA 22401

If anyone needs any further information or questions in general, please PM me.

***If you plan on attending, please post up here so that we can keep a head count. Thanks.

Not a bad ride for me....

Total Est. Time: 8 hours, 22 minutes

Total Est. Distance: 481.87 miles

I'd love to see Zach enjoy his new Crawler and what an excuse for a road trip but unfortunately I'll be having wisdom teeth removed:-(

I will be heading out of Richmond, VA around 8:30, with a station wagon, so I can carry 3-4 peeps plus rigs and equipment.

If anyone wants to carpool, or wants someone else to drive the last hour or so to the spot, let me know.

Is this when Jason is going to deliver it? I could use this as an excuse for my wife to go see he mother in Winchester.

Yes, Jason will be presenting the truck to Zach at the GTG. Also, JasonInAugusta will be there to cover it for RCDriver.

I'll have to confirm with RockMonster if he's going, otherwise I might have to catch a ride with Jason.

We will be there FOR SURE, The Only reason we wouldn't be is if Zachary is in the hospital for some unforeseen reason, but he's good right now, only about a week and a half!

Thanks everyone,

Here are a few pics. I took this morning of the kids in the yard with our first mini snow storm of 2007.

See ya all there on the 15th.

I hope you make it Randy, you bringing that 1.9 FJ Cruiser? When do you think you will be coming into Richmond, I'm sure some of us can meet up. I will be leaving early as I am setting up the courses and stuff but I know some others will be leaving Richmond around 8:30ish.

I am just north of the city, right at the I295/I95 interchange to the north. Probably the easiest place to meet up is at the new Gander Mountain, which is directly next to I95.

Gander Mtn
10150 Lakeridge Parkway
Ashland , VA 23005
(EXIT 86B OFF I95)

I will shoot to leave from here at 8:30 for whoever wants to tag along.
