Newbie mistake

Ok, so i did it the newbie mistake:sad:. I got the Maxstone 8 which was bad move on my part. Two days out the box the rear gears stripped out. I now see that parts are hard to find. So now I am wanting new axles. In looking around and reading alot of forums, Bergs or Bully seem to be the best options. Is there anny other axles that i should look at?

Re: Newbie mistake

I'd do bully axles over bergs. Bergs are just as hard to find parts for as exceed axles. Ask me how I know.
Go bullies and don't look back, that's what I'll do when I get the money.

BERG. berg gears and parts can be had from vendors on this forum. berg gears fit into the exeed MAD crawler but dont know about the 1/8.. they may have the same gear cases. worth looking into.

just go buy a used ax-10 for less than some axles and you will be happy Im sure."thumbsup"

good luck and sorry about the exeed crap

I'm pretty sure the maxstone gears interchange with ax10 stuff but I'm not positive. Post up a picture of the gears.
The mad torque gears interchange with berg gears, thats what i did.

I wonder if you could put berg v2 gears in a max stone...
