Hey all. I'm a noob to the boards here. I've had my Dingo for several years now but I have never been to a comp. I didn't even crawl at all in 2014 as I had the rig all apart.

Now it's back together and I'm ready to do some crawling! My buddy is brand new to RC crawling (so new he gets his Honcho in a few days yet). I was wondering if you'd mind a couple noobs trailing along at the back of the pack?

My full size truck is down right now, so I'm relying on my friend for a ride or else I may not make it. But I'd like to try and be there if you guys don't mind.

I read through the thread but don't see a location. Did I just miss it?

Thanks!

Absolutely!! Come on out.

I edited my first post.

Sorry, here's the map for the location.
Park in the parking lot on NE 35th Ave.
Walk east (uphill on the side walk) to the
large dirt trail on the right. Go about 200
yards. The comp spot will be on your left.

NICE....they're coming out of the woodwork Kevin...lol....see you at 11 for set up. I'll have my son with me for free "labor"....haha. I'm sure I can convince my wife to let him drive her jeep, so there's another driver as well.

There are many cool spots. The Skookumchuck (Skook) in tenino . it's near the skook reservoir. There is Lucia Falls ,Battle Ground. The Cougar Lava beds near Cougar. Castle Rock has a bicycle park that has some fun stuff. There is also a big air track there if you want to run go fast. We mentioned doing a U4 on the pump track. Rainbow Falls state park by Pe Ell and just before you get there is River road also..both equally awesome. Heavily Sedated and I often hosted comps at these locations. The issue we had waa low attendance. It was hit and.miss.

Just found out there is a comp just down the road from me Saturday with the ORCRC so I'll be going to that one. Just letting you guys know to not expect us. I do want to come out crawling with you guys this summer though.

Score sheets are done. I'll have them with me on the 15th.

@ Moto Duck, we very likely seem to be moving towards an event each month by the looks of it. Whether it be a comp, or a GtG of some type of RC scale goodness, something will be going on in the mighty SWWA.
