Default Member location list? Sticky?

Would there be anyway to get a member's location list going? Possibly as a sticky in each regional section? That way we could all find out who lives close and have a better network of people in local areas. I don't go to comps and only have a few friends I crawl with but would like to do trail runs with larger groups sometimes.

No ones interested in knowing who may be in your local area?

Both scale clubs in Washington have Forums and facebook pages. Check out northwestscalerc. and warcrc.

WARCRC has 2 facebook pages, scale and comp.

Great networking with the locals

I don't have a facebook and no plans of making one, to much bs imho. I've seen nwsrc forum but there isn't much activity on there. I don't have a scale comp rig so I don't compete.
I was curious for those of us who don't comp and just enjoy the hobby if we could start a list so we would know what members might be local.

I am with you on the FB scene. I mentioned NWscale FB since they use it more than the forum.

Even on the forums there are a lot of folks that don't compete and like GTG's more...

Check it out and post up on WARCRC, its forum is a bit more active.

Look up the members list in the forums, most are local.

Reviving this thread . . . I am on Whidbey Island and am looking to get back into things after an unintentional year and a half break. I came from Idaho where the terrain was a lot different, but looking to have some fun here as well. I don't typically do comps (might, just never have), just like to GTG and hang out while crawling/trailing. This is my thread for my SCX10:

Valreesio's SCX-10

Meeting people is always weird so I make it easy (or weird) on people with this. I am a 36 year old big married kid. I get along with most people just fine, but have been called an asshole before (mostly by my wife). I like to stop and take lots of video and/or pics while crawling, (view my thread for proof) and in general just take things slow. My truck has a 45T motor, and that is about how fast my out of shape butt can walk . . . lol. That's me. Let's do some crawling.

PM for my number . . . Now does that sound like a dating ad or what????

My youngest was born in Twin. Gooding for me, lived in Wendell. I still have family ties in Hagerman, get there about once a year.

I'm in Graham now, we'll have to get together , shuffle along and take some pics.

This sounds just like me with a few exceptions. I'm 27 and running the stock 35T motor still. Mostly because the wife would be pissed if I bought a new one haha

I'm in the Issaquah area and here is my build thread

I feel there's gonna be no love for me since every body has crawlers and I have a rally car, but this forum seems to have the best in it's rally subforum. But none the less I'm in oly so if there's a lighter trail I might be able to keep up haha

Don't feel like there won't be any love here. I started this thread and I have an 1/8 Exceed moa I turned into a closer to 1/10 scale rig. Most people in the area have axial shafty's and the local hobby shop is kind of a joke(imho) for crawler support. Plus even on here exceed isn't a very popular brand, although I've been happy with how my truck's held up and performed. All that said I am very glad I joined rcc. There are a lot of knowledgeable folk on here that are usually willing to answer questions and help with problems.

I'm in oly also and have seen a couple descent rally spots. This is my friends Vaterra road car turned rally at a spot right by the Olympia airport.

P.s. forgot to mention all the amazing vendors and custom builders on rcc.

Yeah I'm glad I did join here there's a lot of Interesting people with great knowledge on the hobby. And I'll probably get a crawler soon enough but right now I'm pouring money into upgrading the car I have now. That place looks pretty awesome I might need to go check it out soon. I just finished the car like a week ago so haven't found too many spots to open her up at. And great somebody else that's gonna convince me to open my wallet haha

Yeah man will do. If/when I get a crawler (looking at the wraith right now) I'll hit you up and we can go crawl.
